The pending payment that you’re seeing is just our pre-authorisation check, which we carry out with your bank before processing to check that everything is good to go.
This means the bank reserves the amount, for your box, 4 days before the delivery date. We’ve made this change to help safeguard our customers against ending up in an outstanding balance and therefore, owing payment for a box which they might not be able to make.
If you’ve skipped your box before the cut-off (3 days before at 12pm), the pre-authorised payment is voided automatically and will be refunded.
