Gousto is a flexible subscription-based service, giving our customers the power to skip, pause, or order extra boxes whenever they like. If you have an active subscription, you’ll need to make sure you either choose your recipes or, if you’d like a break, skip the box before our cut-off time (12pm, 3 days before your delivery day). If you don’t, our chefs will choose recipes for you based on your account settings. To stop this from happening, pause via the ‘Subscription’ tab in your account at any time. We’ll always do our best to explain the status of your account clearly. It’s why we send a welcome email after sign-up to explain how it works and to confirm that you've signed up for a recurring Gousto box. We’ll also send an email two days before the order is processed, reminding you to choose your recipes for your next box. If no recipes are chosen, or you forget to skip the box the order will go ahead with the recipes chosen based on your preferences.

If you’d still like to receive regular Gousto boxes, you can keep your subscription and skip any boxes you don't want really easily on the app or the website. You can also turn on notifications for the Gousto app to get reminders of your upcoming deliveries.
